wheww… sudah lama ga nulis..
hehe, kali ini saya mau ceriata tentang film yang baru saja saya tonton..
film ini berjudul “The Boat That Rocked”..
singkatnya, film ini bercerita tentang petualangan sebuah stasiun radio off-shore, yang bernama “Radio Rock”..
setting film ini adalah pada tahun 1966 di United Kingdom. pada saat itu, musik Rock ‘n Roll dihambat arusnya oleh pemerintah, padahal musik ini sedang menjadi trend di masyarakat. pemerintah UK menganggap musik jenis ini adalah musik yang tidak mendidik, tidak bermoral dan tidak berkelas (selayaknya UK dianggap sebagai suatu negara yang ber”kelas”).
oleh karena itulah, perjalanan “Radio Roick” mengalami hambatan dari pemerintah.
tapi, yang ingin saya sampaikan kali ini, bukanlah review dari film ini, tetapi salah satu lagu yang ada di dalam film ini. lagu ini dinyanyikan oleh “the beach Boys” dan “The Turtles”. liriknya sangat menyenangkan begitu pula musiknya.
